CoatedBarrier Coated Film

Barrier coated films use a thin functional coating on PET or PP to improve oxygen and moisture resistance while preserving substrate clarity and converting behavior. The coating system is selected around the target barrier and lamination process.

Technical advantages

01

Enhanced barrier

Functional coatings improve oxygen and moisture resistance beyond the base substrate.

02

Adhesion and anchorage

Coating systems are developed for stable anchorage through printing and lamination.

03

Flexible substrate options

PET and PP carriers allow the barrier solution to match the converting process.

Recommended lamination structures

  • PET / coated film / PE
  • BOPP / coated film / CPP
  • Coated film / PE

Starting structures only. Final specifications must be validated for process, barrier target, and shelf life.

Recommended applications

  • Food packaging
  • Industrial laminates
  • Personal care sachets
